About

I feel composition as a very intimate act. The observation and deep listening of the attack and resonance quality during my pianistic years has a strong presence in my music.

During my two years Mmus (Master in Music) studies in London (2010-2012), I had the opportunity to collaborate and premier several pieces from talented composition fellows such as Litha Efthymiou. These collaborations sparked my interest to experiment and develop my composition skills.

I obtained a Bachelor degree in Composition at Catalonia College of Music (ESMUC) with professors Christophe Havel, Mauricio Sotelo and José Río-Pareja. I received advise from Pierluigi Billone, Beat Furrer, Charlotte Bray and Martin Matalon.

Currently based in Barcelona, I am teaching at Barcelona Conservatory of Music and at Taller de Músics Bachelor of Music.

Recent commissions include works written for L’Auditori, Frames Percussion, Funktion ensemble, Mixtur Festival, OUT·SIDE and CrossingLines ensemble. Recent works have been published by Universal Edition.
